Benjamen Janey is an American songwriter, artist and producer who began his musical career as a young Indie label exec in New York; He was born, raised and hails from Boston, MA. Benjamen relocated to Los Angeles after some East Coast successes including producing or performing on works with notable artists: Jessica Sutta and Wyclef Jean. His eclectic style reminds one of several mainstream artists: As an example his style lines up well with Yeezy, Childish Gambino or Travis Scott.

He has worked within, and or collaborated with Universal Music Group, EMI Holland, and BBC Radio. His songs were distributed by Sony Music/Orchard during a period of his on-going career. Benjamen’s first CD release through the library is Urban Edge and includes “featured artists:” multi-platinum awarded Lil Flip, EV0LUT10N, Juma Spears, as well as talented stand-out, multi-media star Rebecca “Aria” Johnson (who appears on two tracks).
