HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR CD COVER ARTWORK
Submit your CD Cover Artwork to Pure UnCutz by following the instructions below:
What is CD Cover Artwork?
CD cover artwork is the front of a commercially released audio recording product, or in this case “CD”. The term refers to the primary image accompanying your digital upload to the Library, or its individual tracks.
Step 1: Create Your Artwork
We have outlined the steps you need to take below to prepare your CD Cover Artwork to upload to the Library:
Please be sure to have Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or another cloud design software you can use to edit your CD Cover Artwork.
Setup your artwork file at 2500x2500 pixels, and 300 DPI.
Please make sure to set your artwork settings to “RGB web colors” in your file settings for best quality.
Although we leave the creative direction up to you, please lean away from busy or overly complex CD Cover Artwork. Music Supervisors have enough to think about, so less is best.
Step 2: Saving Your Artwork
To make it possible for our team to upload your artwork to the Library, we need to make sure your art files are formatted properly:
Please be sure to save your art file as JPG or PNG, without a transparent background.
If using Photoshop, use the “Export for Web” save option from the “File” menu to save your work with one of the file types inidcated above.
Please make sure to save a backup of your artwork in Ai or PSD file.
Export Files at 2500 X 2500 Pixels; Square: 300 Dpi. (Any other sizes will not be accepted.)
